COMMERCIAL SITE LEAD

About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Site Lead, as you’ll be the driving force behind daily on-site coordination for our commercial projects - keeping work organized, safe, and on track. You’ll lead crews, oversee subcontractors, and ensure construction is executed to Pacific’s standards for quality and efficiency.
This role calls for a confident communicator who can lead by example, solve problems in real time, and keep things running smoothly from ground to finish.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Leadership & Coordination
• Organize and oversee daily site activities, aligning work plans with project priorities and timelines
• Supervise and support on-site crews, subcontractors, and trades, ensuring clear direction and accountability
• Allocate tasks, resources, and manpower efficiently to maintain momentum across all scopes of work
• Act as the on-site point of contact for coordination and troubleshooting
Safety, Quality & Execution
• Lead by example in maintaining a safe, organized, and compliant job site
• Enforce adherence to company safety protocols and WorkSafeBC standards
• Ensure workmanship meets quality expectations, project specs, and building codes
• Conduct visual inspections and address any deficiencies proactively
Project & Resource Management
• Track material usage, deliveries, and equipment to minimize waste and downtime
• Monitor on-site expenditures and support cost control in line with project budgets
• Maintain up-to-date site documentation and ensure accuracy in daily reports
• Communicate progress, challenges, and updates to the Project Manager and operations team
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
• Identify and address issues early to minimize impact on schedule and budget
• Offer solutions and escalate critical challenges when required
• Support special projects, schedule adjustments, or operational needs as they arise
What You Bring
• 5+ years of site experience in commercial construction or related fields
• Proven ability to lead crews, coordinate trades, and execute work efficiently
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, construction methods, and quality standards
• Excellent communication and organizational skills — verbal, written, and digital
• A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities
• Experience with site documentation and project tools (Procore, MS Office, Google Workspace, etc.)
