Engel & Volkers is a global real estate brokerage, helping clients around the world find the perfect place to call home. With two offices already in Vancouver (one in Kerrisdale and one in Yaletown), the EV Vancouver team was looking to set up shop on Vancouver’s north shore. An old Starbucks with big windows alongside the friendly Dundarave strip provided the perfect bones for their new West Vancouver home. Pacific was brought on as the trusted General Contractor and Construction Management firm, and we worked alongside the talented team at Studio CM for the bright and airy design.

This real estate office renovation involved taking the 1,900 square foot space and transforming it to meet the current needs of the real estate team’s working styles. We maximized the location’sl footprint and customized the flow in order to include:

• A welcoming reception area and comfortable waiting area for guests coming through the door.

• Open concept workstations for advisors to access as needed when in the office. Frosted glass partitions maintain the open concept feel while still offering a bit of separation.

• 13 enclosed offices enclosed in glass to maintain the open and airy feel.

• A boardroom for team or client meetings.

• A kitchen area for the team

The Pacific millwork shop was busy throughout the entire construction phase. They handled all of the desks (enough for 26 people), the kitchen cabinetry, and the reception desk with waterfall countertop detail. 

The prime location of this real estate office lends itself to being even more multi-use. The crisp, clean Engel & Volkers office was designed this way in order to be used as a gallery to showcase local artists on a rotating basis. This way the community can appreciate and enjoy the gallery-like feel right in the heart of Dundarave village.
