Nestled in one of the North Shore’s most picturesque neighbourhoods, this comprehensive renovation reimagines a Deep Cove home as a refined expression of West Coast living. The Challenge

The original layout was dated and disconnected from its setting — a home with incredible potential but limited flow and natural light. The goal was to create a more cohesive living space that embraced Deep Cove’s scenic views and embodied a calm, contemporary aesthetic suited to its coastal environment.

Our Approach

The renovation focused on enhancing both function and finish:

• Reimagined layout: The kitchen was relocated and redesigned as the heart of the home, featuring custom cabinetry, integrated appliances, and a hidden pantry for a clean, minimalist look.

• Indoor–outdoor connection: A 22’ accordion eclipse door now opens the main living space to the outdoors, blurring the line between inside and out while framing peekaboo ocean views.

• Material refinement: New flooring throughout, fully upgraded bathrooms with custom vanities, a rebuilt exterior deck with frameless glass railings, and a full interior repaint brought the home to a unified, modern finish.

• Millwork craftsmanship: Custom cabinetry and millwork anchor the design - crafted with precision, balanced proportions, and tactile warmth that complements the West Coast setting.

The Cove Residence now captures the essence of Deep Cove living: open, light-filled, and harmoniously tied to its surroundings. The transformation celebrates craft, connection, and the beauty of simplicity - an elevated coastal home where every detail has purpose and every space feels intentional.
